The incident, which happened in Osceola County, reportedly occurred because of the bus driver turning into the path of a semitruck. The bus driver had been trying to make a U-turn.
During the crash, the bus was knocked over onto its side. The semi came to a stop at the scene. It was the bus driver who was cited for an improper lane change when the Florida Highway Patrol made it to the scene.
The good news about this collision is that no serious injuries occurred. While 13 people were reportedly injured, it is expected that all the people who were injured (all adults) will be fine.
